@milesaboveit If I may give some tips, your main issue is that you're not following nearly enough people. There's no algorithm so nothing will be suggested to you unless it's people you follow or posts that they boost. I found it got a lot better once I was following 200 people or so.

Also, check your local and federated feeds if you just want the "firehouse" of posts.
