Is "Delete and redraft" the same as editing? If someone responded to a post and I tried this, would it break threading?

@lxtruong no, doesn't edit. It deletes the original post, so you would lose replies etc

@clhellisen Oh that's annoying. So does this mean that my instance just doesn't allow post editing? Or is it a client issue. I'm on the desktop version right now.

@clhellisen Apparently from version 3.5 mastodon supports edits, so I'm very confused.

@clhellisen @lxtruong I haven't been able to figure out how to edit on the iOS app, or delete and repost, either, for that matter. I can only do this on the web client.

@megmaker That's gotta be a client based thing. The only solution is to switch to Android. :)
