@Grin it may take some time until the instance generates a preview for links. I’ve seen “play” and “open” icons on the web UI for YouTube links inside posts

@Grin hmm dunno, sharing video links is a common thing on the internet. I guess app developers just don’t see much reason to implement an in app video player if most users will have the app installed? 🤔

@Grin the official app is unfortunately very hit and miss, but admittedly I don't remember looking up how they appear here on Tusky
