@kentbrew @stephenfry from an architecture pov that’s the obvious solution, I more meant the practicalities of making that happen as your average celeb isn’t likely to have the requisite technical skill to stand up and run there own mastodon server( @wilw excepted :) ).

However, I’m convinced there is an ‘everyone wins’ community solution in there somewhere.
