Tomorrow will be the last day we see the Sun until February. Well we’ll likely not see it as it is forecast to be overcast. People image we have one long night, but that’s not true. We have a varying amount of twilight as the Sun skims below the horizon.

@digitalrabbit We do more and more as the North Magnetic Pole moves away. When I first arrived we barely saw them, and even then they were mostly smudges on the southern horizon. We were in the hole of the doughnut so to speak. Now we are on the inside edge.
