More #questions about running a Mastodon instance: I see some advice to 'start your own instance, even if just for yourself.' I could get on board with that, but are there any risks in terms of being able to reach or interact with people?
I know a lot of instances use things like shared blocklists. Are single-user instances suspicious at all? Would I be automatically defederated from a bunch of instances?
And is there a better place I should ask these questions? Thanks again.
