Tomorrow will be the last day we see the Sun until February. Well we’ll likely not see it as it is forecast to be overcast. People image we have one long night, but that’s not true. We have a varying amount of twilight as the Sun skims below the horizon.
@NunavutBirder great pics. I to regret less sun these days.
@jcmacomber I don’t mind the dark season. It’s filled with beauty, lots to do (Christmas games etc.) and the returning light builds anticipation for Spring.
@NunavutBirder
I agree that there is a lot to lime about the dark season. I believe I have a little SADS because of the low light though. I usually push through it.
@jcmacomber SAD troubles many unfortunately, not so much here luckily as most have lived their entire lives, generations actually, with the waxing and waning of light and dark. I, luckily, had the circadian rhythm beat out of me with a life time of shift work, so I’m fine with the dark.
@NunavutBirder
Shift work, ahhh. I do week on week off switching from days to nights. It was hard on me. Did not like it.
