Going to go through each of these and the justifications, so spoilers:
Neon Genesis: Sage controlling the giant mech at the end (and other stuff)
Breath of the Wild: The look of the first Island, the sandbox nature, and the lite RPG Elements
Shadow of the Colossus: Short climbing section each Titan fight, plus the whole unleashing an ancient evil by killing them
Super Mario Odyssey: Open-ish worlds. Collect enough tokens to go to the next world.
Just Cause: The upgrade tree was quite reminiscent of it, and one of the titans reminded me more of an installation assault than a colossus.
Ikaruga: Hacking mini game, and the True Final Boss
Budokai (or any DBZ game really): Super Sonic vs Titan fights
Sega Bass Fishing: Okay, tenuous I know, but Big The Cat.
Metroid Fusion: Not so much the gameplay as the corruption being the basis for power ups
Neir Automata: Titan design oozes Neir design. So does Sage
&Knuckles: I couldn't not add this in.
FFXIV Heavensward: The rather serious tone of the story and probably the most 'final fantasy'-ish storyline Sonic's had since 06 (but, honestly, it lands this time)
"Featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry Series": Just everything about the combat system screamed DMC when I saw it. Or just spectacle fighters in general. DMC was just an easy meme.
