OmarLots of Mastodon instances are struggling with the heavy influx of users. Twitter was the same in the early days. The Fail Whale, was something you’d see on a regular basis. Gives it a chance, things will get better.

The easiest solution is: Use smaller instances. It is not a must to register at the biggest sites (it's contraproductive even). It's not even a must to use mastodon (but that's on a different paper) 🙂
