When did Mars get this close to Earth? 😅

In all seriousness, pretty decent result for my phone's camera.

@turnerj woah, phone?! Which?! Amazing.

@vekzdran Samsung Galaxy S9. Photo taken in "pro" mode with F1.5, ISO 200 at max zoom (8x).

The photo makes the sky look a lot darker than it is and the moon is maybe a touch more dull from where I am (Adelaide, South Australia).

@vekzdran Actually, take back the touch more dull. It looks very close right now comparing my phone screen to it.
@vekzdran Updated shot, same settings.
@turnerj @vekzdran this is what I miss most when I moved from Galaxy Note 10+ to iPhone 13 Max. There's no "Pro" mode where you manage the aperture/exposure. (Or if there's one, it's well hidden)
@Moke @vekzdran I'd really hope they had a "pro" mode otherwise it feels like all the fancy cameras on the back are being underutilised.
@turnerj @vekzdran that's exactly my sentiment. I understand Apple trying to make it easier for the everyday user, but why not allow someone more experienced to take the most out of it?
@turnerj really good (I am an amateur photographer so I understand sth about it), such a small chip and lense lol, crazy. It's a shame Apple wont make it better for us enthusiasts (their consumers). I have a Redmi 8 Android for toying around which is like 7x cheaper than iPhone and can shoot 64Mpx images, really amazing times.
