Charlie Savage NYTIs there a way on Mastadon to see who other people are following if they are not on the same server?
PSA: The simple answer seems to be that you have to do it via your desktop's web browser (where you can easily pop to their local page as an intermediate step) rather than trying to do it on a phone app.
