Hi, this is Greta. You are welcome to follow me here, if you prefer planet earth to planet mars.
@gretathunberg become anti-capitalist first. 🤷🏽
@AnarchoN8V don't be so authoritarian!
@davidak you don’t even know what authoritarian means.

@AnarchoN8V its putting yourself above others and telling them what to do

it's the opposite of a leftist

which is kind of funny that i have to say that, to an anarchist

if we want more democracy, we have to achieve it in a democratic way. at least in a working democracy (like here in germany. i have no idea where you live. maybe you have to forcibly remove a dictator, that's legitimate)

you see what i mean?

acting violently will scare people away, but we have to convince them of our vision

@davidak I don’t want democracy I want anarchy. The peoples right to self determination. It’s not authoritarian for me to say for greta to truly be for Mother Earth she needs to be anti-capitalist. What the fuck are you on? Go read a book. Perhaps starting with one on Indigenous Sovereignty.

@AnarchoN8V my problem was the demanding tone. that probably hurt your goals more than it helps. greta is on our side and has brought much attention to the topic. don't say she is not good enough!

and are you even sure she is not anti-capitalist?

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2022/11/02/greta-thunberg-time-overthrow-wests-oppressive-racist-capitalist/

not sure where the quote comes from, but many conservative to far-right media has reported it.

we can just ask her

@gretathunberg are you against capitalism?

Greta Thunberg: It's time to transform the West's oppressive and racist capitalist system

The activist claims that the world’s current 'normal' - dictated by the people in power - has caused the climate breakdown

@davidak @gretathunberg I’m not gonna be tone policed by a white guy first off. Second off she already made that statement not being anti-capitalist homie. 🙃 (if she is she’s a freaking softy on it and that is not going to Accomplish anything for us.)

Also I don’t owe anyone “respectability” (that’s a way of upholding white supremacy) my tone is perfectly justifiable and accomplishes what I need to have been said.

@AnarchoN8V i don't want to tone police you, but i see my post does. I just replied in the same way.

I don't have any power over you. I'm a privileged white guy from germany, so you might have a completely different perspective and strategy. (i still struggle in the current system)

I'm just angry when activists act in a way that move people further away from the cause. Like climate activists in germany that block streets and people think ""i hate those leftists" and become more right-wing.

@AnarchoN8V i can't read that well and don't read books

videos are more accessible for me

can you recommend a (youtube) video or channel on Indigenous Sovereignty? my knowledge is very brief, but i know it's an important goal

@davidak sure. At Andrew has a good video on it. https://youtu.be/7msyOSrpYsg

@AnarchoN8V to my knowledge, anarchy is when there are no hierarchies. and people organize themselves in a grassroots democracy way. so one can say its radical democracy. do you disagree?

i think an anarchist or communist society is very far away. to the point that it does not make sense to be an anarchist or communist. i can't even imagining how that would work. so to change the system, we should move left step by step using our democratic options

my perspective on politics is germany/europe
