@Ruth_Mottram @frantecol it says the new account isn’t an alias. It just won’t let me do it.
@frantecol @frantecol you have to make an alias first - it's a bit tricky to find but go into your account preferences in the new account first and generate the alias.

Hi. I got the same thing going from mastodon.social to mastodon.art. It just took 24 hours for mastodon.social to see the alias. After that I was able to do the “move to” part on mastodon.social and the followers moved across ok
