I've changed quite a few parts on joinmastodon.org/servers today in response to the feedback from the past week. In detail:

You can now filter by region, type of legal entity, and sign-up speed. Added note about why the topics filter exists. Changed tagline.

"Get on waitlist" has become "Apply for an account" for servers that manually review new sign-ups. Removed total user count from cards.

@Gargron the plan is to launch a server that is for journalists and public figures. I already have quite a few people “signed up and ready”

@ianhillmedia I think it will largely come down to the features the servers offer. I’m planning on offering excellent speed and a unique verification scheme.
