You find the switch to Mastodon quite hard / you don’t like the app / you find the app slow, counterintuitive, and unaesthetic?

I switched to Metatext (available for iPhone, not sure for Android) and this makes the whole experience *so* much more enjoyable 😍 It takes to 2 seconds to download and reconnect to your account via your instance/server!

@BerLinguistin am I missing something, or is there no way to access Local and Federated timelines in the official app? And yeah Metatetxt feels instantly better and more feature-rich, but it hasn’t been updated in 6 months.

@r2000 I’m rebooting because I’m also new here and cannot answer your question! Also, thanks for pointing out Metatext is not being updated atm.
