Question-is it possible to change the audience on a post? I seem able to edit everything else, but can't change a private post to public (tusky's default is private/locked/whatever it is called here) and rather than delete and repost i was trying to change the privacy setting.
@johnkap I know you can change privacy from the PC web browser version. I don't know Tusky, but I can research it.
@sogerald tried it on the pc! Couldn't figure out how. Changed my default tho so I shouldn't have to do it often.
@johnkap Things may look a bit different for you, but I was able to change privacy by clicking on the globe icon below the text entry window. The choices are Public (Globe), Unlisted (Open Padlock), Followers Only (Closed Padlock), and Mentioned People Only (@ symbol).
@sogerald Gerald, no, my issue is changing privacy on a posted toot-this is something that can be done on Facebook, for example. Twitter doesn't really have an equivalent setting. I have given up and just reposted as a public post. I also reset the default in Tusky so it doesn't happen again unless I want to specifically for a post. But thanks for all your sleuthing!
