Living overseas, I'm not able to canvas or work phones, but I did donate to a number of candidates and of course voted by absentee ballot. I'm hoping for a miracle, but not expecting it. Too many Americans believe that by some magic, inflation will stop and the economy will take off if Republicans are in charge. They don't want to see that this party has been taken over by authoritarians who have utter contempt for democracy and will stop at nothing to usurp power.
