I really wish covid tests were (still) mandatory for concerts and other events. The lack of people testing themselves is hurting everybody - the audience and the artists in multiple ways.
About 20% of tickets remain unsold at German concerts because people are scared (understandably) and I would feel a lot more comfortable too, since I suffer(ed) from long covid, but I need one of my biggest passions to regulate and have something to look forward to.

@Milkteawitch I've managed to go this whole time without anyone close to me catching it. Until last week and now two people. It isn't over, as much as some people seem to want to pretend.

@Milkteawitch I feel the same way. I would feel much more comfortable going to public events if testing and wearing masks was still a common practice. The way how things are now, these kind of events feel a bit like a death trap.

@Milkteawitch I got a ticket for one of my favorite bands soon but I decided not to go, because I can't imagine sharing a closed venue with thousands of untested, unmasked people right now. I really feel your post.
