People will still be people regardless of the communication medium. It will not solve hate speech or rudeness.

Some instance owners will probably find ways to put up ads to pay the bills. Bots will harass people. Companies will find ways to try to exploit it.

Instance owners will be scummy and sell information.

But that's the future....for now let's enjoy what we have.
