The main two things I collect are Bandai Godzilla figures and Batman. I also classic monsters, but I'm pickier with those.

@ScottWaldyn Bandai SHF or sofubi? I do collect Godzilla stuff but just a few things I got when taking my wife to her dream trip to Tokio before the pandemic. I also enjoy the thrill of the toy hunt, but pandemic made it difficult and here in my home city there are no places for that, I need to travel to Mexico City for that.

@ScottWaldyn Sofubis are great, but not everybody finds them pretty (like my wife). 😅 Tokyo is a great place to visit (though I would get really stressed living there), plenty of places to visit, collectibles to purchase, and food to try. And quite a lot of ideas for books. My second novel got a massive rewrite after that trip to make it take place in the version of Tokyo of my setting.
