@ggreeneva While it is totally unfortunate for those who have to go through the dislocation associated with the firing/rehiring process, this is not unusual for large companies. “Right sizing” - the usual euphemism for mass layoffs - is many times followed by actually figuring out that many of those people performed valuable functions.

@ggreeneva really hope every one of those folks either a) tells them to fuck off if they’re in a position to do so or b) gets such an enormous raise they can make a bank while they’re looking for the next gig, leverage the Twitter salary in those negotiations, and then take like a month off between roles. (While not giving Twitter one minute of notice when they quit.)
