Key covid stats for Australia, last 4 weeks (log scale):
- cases trough was 2 weeks ago, up 31% since
- cases in hospital and ICU both fairly flat
- deaths trough was 2 weeks ago, up 40% since

Reported cases per 100K population grew for the 3rd week in a row in most states. Cases were nearly flat in Queensland.

WA reported the highest case rate - 35/100K, with SA & TAS close being. NSW & VIC are up to 22/100K.

@mike_honey_ not sure why QLD should be flat. Very strange to be bucking the trend. There has to be a reason
@gasugasu1984 @mike_honey_ QLD is usually just a couple of weeks behind no?
@BreezieLT @gasugasu1984 It looks that way - the dropping cases in QLD have flattened out so probably at the bottom of their trough before the next wave. The waves moving a few weeks apart has been a common pattern in Australia.
