🧵
Reported cases per 100K population grew for the 3rd week in a row in most states. Cases were nearly flat in Queensland.
WA reported the highest case rate - 35/100K, with SA & TAS close being. NSW & VIC are up to 22/100K.
The weekly change in reported cases was led by Tasmania at an eye-watering +45%. The last time any state exceeded that growth rate was WA in mid-May
Cases in SA grew by +33%.
"Fully vaccinated" - received a booster in the last 120 days
This continues to decline, everywhere. Perhaps a slight deviation upwards in the trends for Victoria and WA, in the last week or so?
The range now is from Tasmania (12.5%) down to WA (10.6%).
Cumulative deaths for Australia:
- 15,776 for the pandemic
- 13,995 in the last 12 months
