Hannah, a 36-foot, gaff-rigged, ferro-cement ketch (near sister to the gaff-rigged cutter I posted yesterday), sailed during the early ‘00s in the far northern latitudes of the Canadian east coast by Mick and Bee O'Flanagan.

@ccohanlon I would not even consider buying a #ferrocement boat but that one is beautiful. I remember a couple of my Dad's friends building them in #Cornwall back in the 70's. I often wonder how many of them went on for adventures.
@trregeagle Ferrocement is underrated but it requires skilled builders — the best are professional — and patience. Its qualities, if prepared and executed well, are equal to steel but nine out of ten are not much good. Hannah is well proven. Her bear sister, Nightingale, which I posted previously, is very good.
