@Platform_Journalism Great summary. One aspect that is not that obvious is the deliberate design decision of Mastodon by @Gargron to avoid quoting previous mentions (like Twitter). An important difference encouraging members to talk with each other rather than at each other which facilitates civil conversation. Its subtle but powerful.
