Oh my GOD!
I want to follow accounts followed by people I like.
BUT: Follows from other servers are not displayed.
So, I click "browse more on original profile"
This gives me the list, but I need to click on each account individually to get to the "follow" button.
IT
SHOULD
NOT
BE
THIS
HARD!
Turns out, it wasn't that easy. 😭
@why0hy For that last step that makes it even harder, there's a browser extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/mastodon-simplified-federation/
Mastodon – Simplified Federation! – Get this Extension for 🦊 Firefox (en-US)

Download Mastodon – Simplified Federation! for Firefox. Simplifies following or interacting with other users on remote Mastodon instances in the Fediverse. It skips the “Enter your Mastodon handle” popup and takes you to your own “home” instance, without entering your Mastodon handle on remote instances.

@why0hy Perhaps a silly question, but especially coming from a centralised social media (like Twitter) some of how mast is set up can be unintuitive.
Are you looking for followed content in your Home feed?
Mastodon has 3 main feeds:
Local: Just posts made to your local instance.
Federated: Includes posts to your local instance, and any federated instances connected to the local one.
Home: Posts you make, and those made by accounts you follow directly.
@why0hy this is why I really appreciate follow lists, like the ones put together by @alexcengler or @anneroth (kudos)

@kik1 @why0hy

Also you might want to follow @Luca who created a tool that helps you find people here you follow on Twitter!

Cool, thanks. Inputting them one by one was a bit of a chore, but better than nothing.
@why0hy @kik1 @Luca @alexcengler If you have a list, you should be able to import them in one go from settings
@why0hy My computer security blocks me from accessing some servers. This has stopped me following some interesting people.
