@ThisIsMissEm No worries I can explain.

Those are user research methods to help discover how menus, navigation etc (information architecture) should be organised. Card sorting is for sorting topics into categories (i.e. Organise the following into categories: Shirt, pants, dress). Tree testing is a task completion exercise within a menu tree (i.e. Where would you go to buy a button down shirt?).
