L. Stuart Vance@fatsam And here I was thinking that the 4-2 Spurs were going to be in the Victor Wembanyama sweepstakes. Turns out that a team without a superstar that can share the ball (leading the NBA) and shoot threes well (for a nice change) can outperform the pundits. If the Spurs win 48 games, Pop should win coach of the year in a landslide.
@ledcreigh The Lakers aren't in those sweepstakes, but the New Orleans Pelicans might be. They have the Lakers draft pick this year.
