Queers never show up to anything at the appointed start time and then they get really into the thing and it runs way over.

It turns out Jews have a similar reputation.

I've been showing up to a thing with queer Jews and the combination is intensified.

I can only imagine what it's like for queer Jews in California. I like to imagine that everything is just way super late or that they start everything right on the dot.

@celesteh Everything is so incredibly late for them in California that everybody schedules events for the day before and it cancels out perfectly

@spacefinner The whole thing where some Reform congregations met on Sunday morning was widely misunderstood as assimilating to Christian norms, when, in fact, they were just suuuper late.
