Yesterday I learned TL;DR.. I'll print this article some time this week though. I was cutting back some shrubs, and snipping branches underfoot. The four incubator chicks kept getting underfoot, making happy sounds and finding food, scratching away weeds, leaves and twigs I've been putting on the daily-trodden areas too. Amitav Ghosh's introduction to the idea of thinking like a forest came to mind. So for the last hour or so I've been on-line reading instead of posting cute pictures.
