I forgot the title & author, can you help me find this online graphic novel that circulated on Fedi? It was a fantasy metaphor about LGBTQIA identities, about a version of Earth where some random humans innately have the nature of shapeshifting into these furry creatures with fox ears & zig-zag shaped mouths, & how society treats them for it?
@monsterblue Am I remembering that this was a comic that you had linked to at some point?
I'm still trying to find this comic. It wasn't in my reblogs or favorites on my mastodon.social account, or my reblogs on an account from a server that has since died, or my faves in my weirder.earth account. I tried Googling the only keywords that I remember from the original post: the author definitely mentioned Zootopia as an inspiration to do better with a fantasy metaphor about marginalized peoples, and I'm pretty sure they said the comic was a thesis project for school. My search still hasn't turned it up. I really want to read it again (or buy it, if it's in print now instead!) so I hope someone can help direct me to it!
@frameacloud .hg wei never got around to reading this, and wei totally should!
@moonbolt Do you know the comic I'm talking about? Do you have a link to it?
@frameacloud .hg Wei know exactly what you're talking about, but wei don't remember the name or anything else D:
