@Ten arrested teachers, namely Khaled Abdollahi, Soleiman Abdi, Ahmad Ghaderi, Amanj Amini, Zahed Moradi, Ismail Reyhani, Hesam Khakpour, Taher Hamedi, Mohsen Shokouhi and Hassan Rahimian, went on hunger strike yesterday, June 18, to protest their continued arrest in #Saqez.#Iran
On Thursday, June 16, salaried and retired teachers and educators gathered in front of education authorities in many cities across the country to protest the non-fulfillment of their demands, called for by the Coordinating Council of Iranian Teachers' Unions. During the rallies, several teachers' union activists were arrested, including some teachers from #Saqez.
