What format do you prefer to read in and why?
I am having a Struggle trying to pick what to draw in because I see pros and cons in both.

@3__54 I understand why webtoons exist (page layout doesn't work for mobile) but aside from #MageAndDemonQueen I haven't really gotten into many. I think you can do pretty cool stuff with both formats layout and timing wise.
@jfml same here, it's not until very recently that I've found two webtoons that have absolutely blown me away--and showed me what the format can do that the page layout can't in the same way. But page layout can do other cool things... it's hard to pick! 😂
@3__54 interesting! what are their names?
@jfml Omniscient Reader and Purple Hyacinth!
@3__54 Thanks, I'll check them out ^__^
@jfml I hope you'll like them! ^7^
@3__54 reading online I prefer scroll format because it's smoother to scroll. :D
@mopani it does give a smoother experience sometimes :O

@3__54 I only read comics on my desktop, and sometimes the endless scrolling bothers me to no end. It depends on your audience, I guess. If they're on mobile, than scroll format is the way to go.

if you want to take your comic to print on day, you can still use the scroll format, you just have to be mindful of your panelling.

@Gremriel I tend to read from my desktop too, and the long format means panels can get awkward when I can't see all of them at once, but other times I love the experience of scrolling through scenes, which isn't an experience I get reading regular comics.
But yeah, possibly printing it someday is something I'd like to have in mind already.
Thank you!
@3__54 i have a small and old phone, so my favourite tends to be separated page formats, like broken into chunks that i can flip through. scroll is kind of overwhelming
@eucalyptus that makes sense, totally understandable
