What can I do to help the revolution?
@Odonian Damn that's quite a broad question! Uhh, what do you enjoy doing?
@Rogo honestly not much. programming i guess. i'm a Food Not Bombs member but I feel like I should be doing more

@Rogo @Odonian
I've been involved in #foodsharing. very similiar to #foodnotbombs.
The network effect is really great as you have a really good reach with food.

Ppl need to see #foodNotBombs and #foodsharing as a tool able to radicalize new ppl...and organize through this further actions.

within #yunity some are also working on building an opensource plattform for organizing #foodsaving

*waves to fellow foodsharer*
@einebiene I would wish they would have had a more open communication plattform.
ppl from #yunity are working on maintaining and open sourcing ....but mostly foodsharing.de will stay the same.
Hope once the code is open source some nice devs active in the fediverse are joining.
I've had many talks with the devs doing it now...but they reject all my ideas as I'm not capable of speaking 'tech standard'
Hmpf. I'm not a dev.
@Odonian @Rogo
it's still much under development but usable.
@paulfree14 interesting. do you have a link to the foodsharing open source project?
@Odonian some the projects we're doing are listed here yunity.org
@paulfree14 @Odonian Definitely agree! While I believe violence as self-defense is crucial, I think the best way to attract others to mutual aid is to show them how appealing and efficient it is.
@Odonian @paulfree14 (I would love to learn more about these projects btw. I'm trying to see how to do similar things within my own community)
