@mrbitterness What amazes me is the number of "Oh, they only hid tracking details in their *cough* privacy browser. We don't know of any problems with the search engine!"
This totally ignores that if the people behind the browser are also behind the search engine, then they're likely to make similar decisions. The last decisions were only discovered by luck and hard work by an independent researcher. A week ago we knew nothing about them.
What hasn't been discovered yet?
@mrbitterness That's bitter. Time for me to move on and try to get used to Quant as primary search tool (other suggestions welcome).
It's absolutely shocking that they sold their soul to Microsoft. Releasing a "privacy" browser that secretly violates our privacy is a disaster.
