Yesterday was the last day of the 5MinuteSketch challenge - shall we up it to 10 minute sketches this week? If you don't want to take more time from your day, you can just choose one image to do ^.^

@Curator I knew it, it will just keep going until we're all doing 6 hour sketches 24 hours a day :v)

I'm going to bow out for now, but I had fun with the past weeks and appreciate the effort you put into finding a variety of scenes and colors for these!

@moletrooper Haha :D Patience is a hard thing to practice, so I'm kinda quietly working it into the prompts as optional challenges that gradually build people up to doing longer pieces while hopefully still enjoying the creative process :D
@Curator I can’t wait until we get to 6 hour studies hahaha maybe it’ll help me plan and execute more complex scenes
I have so much stuff in my head that I just don’t know how to execute 😭
@Curator Those references are perfect for old-master like studies with oil pastels, don't tease me like that, I will get them on friday 😅

@Curator
This took about an hour. The background are stock textures. (made in Ibispaint on my android phone)

I intended it to be 10 minutes (oopsie)

@GracelessHippo Ooh very nice! I love the dots in the middle :D
@Curator
Thank you! The dot pattern was partly a dot brush. The flower details were done with a dip pen brush. Everything else was done with a big Japanese calligraphy brush in a tear drop shape. It's the reason there are little gaps. (But I like the little gaps!) I'm enjoying getting colour into me stuff since I did nearly 2 weeks of line drawings.
