Are there any online groups/communities where we can connect and talk with other fellow climate emergency/climate truth aware individuals and activists that also understand the direness of the situation?
I must admit that I'm starting to struggle with the 'delusion of normalcy' around me when I want to discuss or talk about the subject, and perhaps connecting with other fellow climate aware activists might help me deal better with this and still enjoy the company of my loved ones.
I understand the #climatetruth is painful in different ways and degrees for each one of us. And each one of us certainly has the right to employ whatever coping mechanisms/strategies it needs to deal with this. It isn't fair for me to demand or expect a specific response towards the subject from the people around me.
But I think that, to better continue enjoying the company of them, I should connect, chat and share with people that feel like I do regarding the climate emergency, people that are able to understand, people that are as worried as I am.
