No data is moved. What moving does do is move your (mastodon) followers to your new account automatically. It also disables your old account. You can still download your bookmarks and other data, but you can't post. You also can't see your notifications any more. Wish I'd known that one.
You can export & import the list of people you follow (though they may need to approve again). But not posts (you can export them, but not import them).
