steve hocktail@yuka i haven't seen rebuild yet, but this looks straight out of episode 1 from the original series. i'm fairly certain the infamous scene you're referring to is a callback to that exact moment from episode 1.

@yuka yeah, shinji's hand in the hospital scene had the same pattern as right before he first piloted the eva in the original series too. i think it was on purpose.
