#watercolor efforts from the last few evenings. The second pic was my first try, but after my seven years it I’d critic said that the cliffs were inappropriately unnatural, I had to take a second chance. Each of them has their flaws, I’m still struggling with techniques (e.g. graded washes, decent clouds, muddying up every layer..) but I think it’s getting better. #CuratorPrompts #CuratorPrompts36 #mastoart #watercolour

@Curator Happy to read that from an experienced artist, because I feel the same. Better have a decent simplification than a representation which doesn’t work.

@LindaG Yeah, I think it's also a bit 'trust your gut'. Often I go for a second try on something then it turns out the first is better. We just judge ourselves too harshly XD
