I really didn't get why some people called the police fascist or yelled "ACAB" at them. How can you hate a group that serves to protect you? But that's where you're wrong. Their job is to enforce the law hence the name "law enforcement". And when the law states that you and your little activist group were given a curfew order to disband and stop your activity and you don't comply; watch closely how the police "serve and protect your right to demonstrate".
Who do you call when the police infringe on your right? Please show me where and when a single police officer or a police station went against an illegitimate order or command issued to them by the government and instead decided to not blindly follow orders and join the citizens side. Bet you can't. Because the police ain't your friend. The only one they serve and protect is the government.

@itoshigoyo

In Russia maybe, not in Germany!

@MaxPowerGER Right. Because the people in Frankfurt based on this news article didn't get issued an order to disband & stop protesting/demonstrating and because they clearly weren't also carried away too. https://www.derstandard.at/story/1336697168556/frankfurt-150-demonstranten-verhaftet

Where exactly was their right to demonstrate? Why does a city have the authority to decide who gets to demonstrate, when & where? Why didn't the police go against their orders given to them and instead protect the citizens?

@MaxPowerGER Please tell me why the police officers who followed through with the order given to them aren't held accountable. As far as I am concerned, they infringed on their right to demonstrate. And don't try to argue "but the city forbid them!". Okay and now what? Hitler forbid the Jews many things. Was that alright too? Why aren't the police officers prosecuted for "Menschenrechtsverletzungen"?
