I think you’ve kind of missed the boat on the whole idea of #agile if you do 3 months of “planning and prep work” before starting Sprint 1 , and then say you’ll be done in 5 Sprints…

@n9unx 😀. Believe it or not it’s all that ‘planning’ and then 5, 2-week sprints. I’m understandably dubious.

@N3VEM I get it. My shop does SAFe. The overhead makes it feel like there is nothing agile about it.

@n9unx yeah, we're very fragmented where I work - the full time employees all went through rounds of training in SAFe, but only 20% of our IT is actual employees - everything else is contractors, so for a lot of the projects its whatever method the contracting company of the day wants to use for the given project. I actaully just got out of our IT group and took a different role in the company because of all the associated non-sense :-)
