Anti-choice Republicans are obsessed with a fetus from conception to nine months. After that, they don’t want to know about you. They don’t want to hear from you.

No neonatal care, no family leave, no day care, no Head Start, no school lunch, no food assistance, no education, no nothing. If you’re pre-born, you’re important, if you’re preschool, you’re screwed. If you're older, they don't want you either and they want your healthcare, social security, and Medicare gone.

It they were really pro-life, these support systems would already be in place. They're not. I keep seeing conservative Christians claiming overturning Roe will "heal" the country. It will destroy it even further.

Opinion | America Is Not Ready for the End of Roe v. Wade

Americans are about to lose a constitutional right. It’s worth fighting for.

@TonyStark They get to feel all self-righteous for making a woman give birth and they're not about life at all.
@PixxburghGirl @TonyStark
at some point we have to stop circlejerking about the conservative hypocrisy. it's all they do. its easy to feel smug in pointing it out, until you realize they have no sense of shame and literally don't care. they have terminal contrarianism and will burn everything to the ground just to make a lib suffer. at some point we have to collectively ignore their moral failings in order to get actual work done.
@wagesj45 @TonyStark That's not what I'm doing.
@PixxburghGirl @TonyStark
i didn't mean you specifically. honestly my reply might have fit better under the original post, re: 'they're not really pro-choice, just pro birth'
@wagesj45 @TonyStark I don't think it's appropriate for that one, either. That's not the point.
