LJOh, joy. My spouse began the day w/a flat tire in the driveway. Called work to let them know he'd be late. Only to find out that a co-worker has covid. And that co-worker was unmasked around a 3rd co-worker yesterday. Spouse is diligent w/masking, but will still get a covid test. Not an auspicious start to the day.
Spouse is a hospital based physician. So far, 4 of his fellow docs have gotten Covid in the past month. And by and large, it's been from community exposure as masking has become lax.
The 2 of us are still exceedingly careful about masking in indoor spaces where there are numerous people. Some days it feels like we are the lone holdouts in a world that would like to forget the pandemic ever happened.
