jokes aside, last windows I worked with was XP, and I didn't hate it and even kinda liked it
x.iso@oleksiy I think current Windows 10 is quite alright, but seems like it won't support (make proper use of) new types of CPUs with different core types, which is a shame. Because I think Windows 11 is kind of atrocious in how they stripped a lot of customization and generally made a lot of dumb decisions imo.
@xiso yeah, I've heard the complaints about taskbar being permanently pinned to the bottom of the screen without options to move it to the side. I guess that's not the only limitation that's there
@oleksiy that's one thing won't be getting used to, because I'm using taskbar on the side since Windows 7, works out better for me on 16:9 screen, at least on laptop size. But also start menu became kind of a joke. I get that live tiles might not be for everyone, but it works just fine in general, allows for custom layouts and have distinctive look.
