Hey Arters and Crafters, I have a cutting question.

Staples Canada is doing a CA$150 off deal on a Cricut Maker 3. I've been doing some sticker work by hand so far and would love an automated cutter and these seem like a decent price and my local store seems to stock parts.

Issue is though, I run ubuntu, and as far as I can find. There isn't much by way of linux support. Anyone here have experience making it work? I do have android devices I could use to connect to it but I don't really want to require a phone/tablet in that way if I can (though if the Design Space app is useable enough, I could live with it.)

Overall, I just mostly want to know if it's worth it for me (linux user) to get the Cricut Maker 3 to cut US Letter sized sticker sheets. Thank you to anyone that responds.

Upon further soul searching, I have found that Silhouette might be a better option despite a lack of any local presence. The Portrait 3 (terrible name) has got the things I need and is about the same price range as the Cricuts. Will just suck to have to get everything for it shipped from the USA.
@pongles one lil recomendation is the cheap CB09 blade holders and blades, totally compatible and way better than the stock silhouette ones..
