Ah, it does seem that Fedora comes with a Firefox installation that cannot play videos. (I mean, truly, how many of us want to do that in 2022?)

@aral Riiight, you need to install codecs... Not sure how to tackle that on silverblue, tho.

@gabmus Thanks; just found a simple guide (two packages to layer using rpm-ostree).
There should really be an option to have those installed from the start. e.g.,
[x] I want to be able to play videos on the web.
Ideally, checked by default :)
