The whole "musk wants to buy twatter"-thing is another Episode where I ask myself, how the world would look if we actually hat hard caps for what one can earn and own. If you cap the top redistribution to the lower tiers is the only thing that makes sort of sense and would close several wide gaps by a lot.
Not saying people should own nothing etc. Bla but srsly, if nobody made more then 100k/$ a year and can't own more then lets say 2-5 million, basically all markets need to (forcefully) adopt. Yes it would nuke some garbage industries along the way but I'm not yet convinced, that this is a bad thing. You can make every corp worker owned so that is literally no problem.
It's a weird but interesting idea, yes but it has fascinating consequences when you think a bit more about this.
