An IDE a text editor does not make.
@atoponce if I can’t do it with neovim I’ll often use a JetBrains ide

Honestly, any text editor. I'm not a great dev and I only use syntax highlighting.

@atoponce I use functional programming languages -for example lisp- , best functional programming IDE is Emacs.

@frogiskhatem @atoponce never heard of something like switching between emacs and vim based on what language are you writing, especially if functional / non-functional. Interesting :-)
