Spent an hour yesterday afternoon talking Minecraft with my wife's 7yo god-son. He has only played the demo, but knows more about the game than I do.
He and his friends play it in the playground, apparently, in real life.

@mattonthehill I remember being a kid and playing videos games, but IRL. People look at you weird when you do it as an adult though. Of course, people probably looked at me weird back then, I just didn't care.

@OpenComputeDesign I was that age in the early 80s, so computer games weren't that widespread (or that sophisticated either!).

@mattonthehill I grew up in the 2000s, but most of my games were mid 90s Jumpstart games. I still have all the theme songs embedded in my brain :P
